Venturing out from Bangalore, where the scorching heat felt unrelenting, a weekend escape to the refreshing climes of Chikmagalur became an irresistible prospect. The promise of cooler temperatures and verdant landscapes beckoned, making it an obvious choice for a brief respite from the sweltering urban furnace.
Arriving in Chikmagalur, we were greeted with a warmth that transcended the weather. However, the initial day of our trip was hindered by the heat, thwarting our plans to explore the outdoors. Undeterred, we eagerly awaited the next day, determined to make the most of our time in this picturesque hill station.
Dawning upon us was a new day filled with promises of adventure and exploration. Booking a cab, we embarked on a journey to uncover the treasures hidden within the folds of Chikmagalur’s landscape. Our itinerary included the awe-inspiring Mullyangiri peak, the cascading beauty of Jhari Falls, and various other captivating spots dotting the vicinity.

As our journey drew to a close, we couldn’t resist indulging in some of the region’s famed coffee, making a stop at the iconic Panduranga coffee outlet to savor the rich flavors and aromas that encapsulate the essence of Chikmagalur.
In retrospect, our trip to Chikmagalur proved to be a rejuvenating escape, offering not only respite from the heat but also a plethora of unforgettable experiences that will forever remain etched in our memories.
