Nestled amidst the Aravalli hills, Udaipur seamlessly blends history, culture, and natural beauty. Our adventure began with the iconic City Palace, an architectural marvel on the banks of Lake Pichola. This sprawling palace complex is one of the largest of its kind in Rajasthan, boasting detailed art and intricate designs that narrate tales of Udaipur’s royal heritage.

A visit to Udaipur wouldn’t be complete without stopping at Saheliyon Ki Bari. This historic garden was created for the royal ladies to relax and socialize. With its fountains, lotus pools, and lush greenery, Saheliyon Ki Bari is a peaceful oasis in the city.

Lake Pichola is a highlight of Udaipur, surrounded by historical landmarks and picturesque hills. We enjoyed a serene boat ride across the lake, taking in views of the Jagmandir Island Palace and the city’s silhouette against the mountains.

We took a scenic ropeway ride to the Karni Mata Temple, located on a hilltop overlooking the city. The panoramic views from here are breathtaking, offering a bird’s-eye perspective of Udaipur’s lakes and architecture. Watching the sunset from Karni Mata was one of the most memorable parts of our trip.

For a higher vantage point, we went up to Moti Magri. From here, we enjoyed a scenic view of Fateh Sagar Lake and a distant view of the City Palace—perfect for capturing some of Udaipur’s beauty.

As evening approached, we visited Fateh Sagar Lake. Surrounded by the Aravallis, this lake is a popular sunset spot. The warm hues of twilight reflected on the water, creating a magical ambiance.

Udaipur left us with memories as tranquil as its lakes and as grand as its palaces.
